This Shipping Policy explains how shipping, delivery and collection work for products purchased from Haffiart, including artwork, handmade light sculptures, design products and related creative items.

 

1. General information

Haffiart offers handmade and creative products that may include original artwork, light sculptures, lava stone designs, prints, merchandise or other custom-made items.

Because many products are handmade, unique or produced in limited quantities, processing and delivery times may vary depending on the item.

 

2. Order processing time

Orders are usually processed after payment has been confirmed.

Typical processing time:

  • In-stock items: 2–7 business days

  • Handmade or custom items: 7–21 business days, depending on the project

  • Large or fragile artwork: processing time may vary and will be confirmed before shipping

If an item requires extra preparation, packaging or custom work, we will contact you with an estimated timeline.

3. Shipping locations

Haffiart may ship products within Iceland and internationally where possible.

Shipping availability depends on:

  • Product size

  • Product weight

  • Fragility

  • Destination country

  • Shipping carrier availability

  • Customs or import restrictions

Some large, fragile or one-of-a-kind items may only be available for local pickup or special delivery by agreement.

4. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the product, destination and delivery method.

Shipping costs may include:

  • Packaging materials

  • Carrier fees

  • Handling for fragile items

  • Insurance, if applicable

  • International shipping fees, where relevant

For large, fragile or custom-made items, shipping costs may be confirmed separately before the order is completed.

5. Local pickup

Local pickup may be available in Reykjavík or by special agreement.

If local pickup is selected or agreed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable pickup time and location.

Please do not arrive for pickup before receiving confirmation.

6. Delivery times

Estimated delivery times depend on the shipping method and destination.

Typical delivery estimates:

  • Within Iceland: 2–7 business days after dispatch

  • International shipping: 7–21 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and customs processing

Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by postal delays, weather, customs, public holidays or other circumstances outside our control.

7. Customs, taxes and import fees

For international orders, the buyer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees or other charges required by the destination country.

Haffiart is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

If a package is returned because customs fees were not paid or delivery was refused, additional shipping or handling costs may apply.

8. Fragile items and packaging

Some Haffiart products, including light sculptures, artwork and handmade pieces, may be fragile.

We take reasonable care to package items securely. However, customers should inspect the package upon delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with:

  • Your order details

  • Photos of the damaged item

  • Photos of the packaging

  • A short description of the issue

This helps us review the case with the shipping provider.

9. Lost or delayed packages

If your package is delayed, please contact us and we will help check the shipping status where possible.

Haffiart is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, incorrect addresses or circumstances outside our control.

If a package appears lost, we will review the situation with the carrier and work with you to find a reasonable solution.

10. Incorrect shipping information

Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping information at checkout.

If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs.

Please contact us immediately if you notice an error in your shipping address.

11. Digital products and services

Some Haffiart services or products may be digital, including design files, video work, digital media, photography, music or creative project delivery.

Digital products are not shipped physically. Delivery will usually be made by email, download link, cloud folder or another agreed digital method.

12. Custom orders

Custom-made artwork, light sculptures, drone projects, video projects, music, design work or commissioned creative services may have separate delivery terms agreed before the project begins.

For custom orders, delivery time depends on the scope of the work, materials, production time and client communication.
